Good News For Troubled Times
The COVID-19 crisis is having a massive impact on every area of life at the moment. Here's how CCH is responding, as well as a bunch of resources for this troubled time.
If you haven't already, you can register on this site, which will enable us to keep you up to date with any changes of plan by email.
The Church of England has suspended all public worship services and so we will no longer be meeting on Sundays until further notice.
We will instead be livestreaming our services on YouTube. Tune in any time from 10:15am every Sunday:
Our services even got a mention in a recent article on the Hunts Post!
Our Life Groups hope to meet online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you're already part of a Life Group, contact your leaders for more information about how this will work; if you're not and you'd like to be, get in touch!
If you're a member of CCH, click here on Monday 23rd at 1pm to join a video conferencing discussion (on Zoom) on ways we can serve Huntingdon, especially the elderly and those dependent on foodbanks. Contact Charlie or see the church WhatsApp group for the password. There's no need to install the Zoom app; it should work on your computer with a webcam or on your smartphone.
Whether you're self-isolating or not, we could all do with something to tell us about Jesus at the moment!
Special podcast series
Charlie is running a series of 4-minute podcasts which are also being broadcast on Huntingdon Community Radio:
Good News For Troubled Times Displays latest 99 AV recordings from the current group.
We have a growing archive of sermons that you can listen to. The following may be particularly helpful at this time.
Click here for the prayers as led by Becca on 22nd March. Perhaps you could use them to help you pray!
Do keep in contact with each other via electronic means! Contact Charlie if you're not on the CCH WhatsApp group and you'd like to be, and consider who you might know in church who could do with a phone call or some practical help.
