Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service. We meet at Stukeley Meadows Primary School, Huntingdon, PE29 6UH.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Services are informal and we will be looking at passages of the Bible, hearing from a preacher as to what the Bible is telling us about God and ourselves, singing songs to God and about God and spending time praying together.
What is on for children and young people at church?
Children are most welcome. There are three children's groups running during each service for children ages 2-11. Each week, there are a mix of activities such as games and crafts and a short talk to learn more about the God of the Bible. Children will stay with their parents at the start of the service. Someone will announce when it is time for children's groups to start. You will need to register your children the first time they attend. There is also a creche available for parents to go with babies and toddlers under 2.
For those aged 11-18, there is a group running after the service once a month called 'Doughnuts & Discussion' where they will gather together to discuss with some tasty treats to chat about the sermon and ask any questions they may have.
Every Sunday evening in term time, CCHY (Christ Church Huntingdon Youth), meets together to spend some time together, have some snacks and dig deeper into God's word.
For more information of our children's and youth work, please visit the Children and Young People page on our website which includes our safeguarding policy.
